With the ESS flagship ES9038Pro DAC chip, recognized as the industry standard, the DAC-Z8 delivers exceptional sound reproduction with low total harmonic distortion, minimal noise and distortion, ensuring an authentic high-fidelity music experience.
Eversolo's engineers have used all their experience to design the analog circuit, so you can enjoy a dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio of a whopping 133 dB. But the impressive numbers don't stop there - the DAC-Z8 also offers a Total Harmonic Distortion of -124 dB (0.000062%), making it a benchmark within its class. It is quite unheard of to find a DAC with such convincing sound quality.
Full support for true hi-res formats
The built-in 3rd generation XMOS 316 processor ensures faster processing speed and better USB bandwidth, so that it is possible to play even the heaviest audio files. The USB output supports DSD512, PCM768 in 32bit and MQA, while the optical and coaxial output supports DSD 64 (DoP) and PCM192 in 24Bit.
8 OPA1612 operational amplifiers and low jitter clocks
The DAC-Z8's I/V circuitry consists of 8 OPA1612 op-amps working together with a multi-channel signal shunt compensation technology. It improves channel separation, dynamics and sound integrity while providing lossless amplification of the XLR, RCA and headphone output signals. Another positive effect of this solution is that it also leads to a lower noise level.
The DAC is also equipped with two ultra-precise clocks that reduce jitter and ensure the best timing in the digital signal. The result is an incredibly accurate and precise audio decoding that preserves all the details of the signal.
Differentiated amplifier circuit and balanced preamplifier output
The fully balanced design of the DAC-Z8's analog circuitry ensures high quality sound reproduction. Both XLR, RCA and headphone outputs are processed by a balanced differential amplifier circuit that eliminates noise and improves channel separation for a more precise sound experience. The integrated preamplifier circuit also allows for refined volume adjustment without the need for additional preamplification.
Separate RCA and XLR outputs
To minimize signal interference, the DAC-Z8 has separate RCA and XLR outputs that ensure higher sound quality and better performance. In addition, both RCA and XLR outputs can be activated simultaneously as required.
Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth module
The DAC-Z8's Bluetooth function uses the Qualcomm QCC5125 module, which supports Bluetooth 5.0 and a range of Bluetooth audio protocols, including SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD and LDAC. This allows you to enjoy CD-quality music wirelessly by connecting your mobile phone, tablet or computer.
