In Grado's never-ending quest to experiment with all types of wood materials, the opportunity to build with hemp arose. Grado wasn't sure how these headphones would turn out, but to everyone's surprise, it quickly became a favorite. To be honest, this is one of the best sounding Limited Editions Grado has built.
The highly compressed hemp creates a damping effect between their fibers. This produces a fuller sound, comprised of a noticeable low end and a top end that extends smoothly to its limits. The hemp may be doing the heavy lifting, but the hemp phone is a joint effort. We built maple into the housing to help balance out the sound, and bring out the sonic properties that we've heard maple produce.

Mine mere end 10 år gamle Grado blev slidt op. Jeg prøvede at klare mig uden i et par år, men det gik ikke. Disse er mindst lige så gode. Men puderne skal man skifte til en tykkere og blødere slags,
