Dual Master Clock – Precise synchronization of digital signals

To ensure maximum sample-rate compatibility without distorting interpolation errors, the CD 50N is equipped with two high-speed, high-precision master clocks located close to the DAC. One clock is dedicated to 44.1 kHz sample rates and its multiples as well as DSD, while the other handles 48 kHz and its multiples. By using separate clocks for different sample rates, jitter is eliminated, resulting in a more accurate and natural sound reproduction.
