Inside, the MOON 861 is built as a dual mono amplifier, with each channel having its own separate circuit. This provides high channel separation and contributes to a precise and natural stereo image.

MOON's MDCA technology also keeps distortion down to just 0.001% at full output power. Combined with a design without global feedback, the goal is an open and musical presentation where both details and dynamic swings have room to breathe.

With a signal-to-noise ratio of 119 dB and a damping factor of 900, the 861 also has the control required when the music becomes complex and demanding.

BUILT LIKE A TRUE HIGH-END AMPLIFIER

MOON 861 makes no secret of the fact that this is serious high-end. The chassis measures 48 × 21 × 60 cm, and with a weight of 70 kg, it is a power amplifier with both physical heft and solid construction.

The front is kept simple with a discrete multicolor LED that shows the amplifier's status without breaking the minimalist look.
