Pro-ject used their technology and experience from the past and adapted damping techniques from high-end turntables in the Debut Carbon EVO. Looking at more advanced TPE damping and high mass sandwich constructions, Pro-ject was able to come up with a new motor and suspension solution for the Debut Carbon EVO.

The Debut Carbon EVO doesn't just look good - it also always stands perfectly level. It uses 3 height-adjustable heavy-duty metal feet to ensure level placement.

In addition to being able to effortlessly change playback speeds at the touch of a button, the playback speed is controlled electronically with the utmost precision, resulting in the most accurate and stable speeds.

Pro-ject's previous metal platter was already heavier than any other on the market, but metal platters inherently have a drawback: resonance.

Pro-ject's TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) technology now helps to completely dampen resonance and also increases the weight to 1.7kg. Because the TPE is mounted on the inside of the rim of the plate, the moving energy will also create a flywheel effect. The result is an even quieter and silent operation with less wow and flutter.
